Thank you to everyone who supported our campaign to raise money for the Anyirawase L.A Primary School in Ghana! Here are some pictures of the project that took place last month...

Today's the day!! Help us reach our goal - $10,000 for the Anyirawase L.A. School in Ghana! For a donation of $100 you can literally change the course of the future for these primary students. All you have to do is click on the following link and make your donation - the purpose is "classrooms". Receipts will be issued for donations over $25. 

We can't thank you enough for all you have done to enrich the lives of citizens in your own communities... now lets send some love to Africa. Books For Ghana...

A book party hosted in Elkford last week was a huge success!! A total of 57 brand new, top of the line, educational books will be headed to the Anyirawase School in August!! Thanks to EVERYONE who helped make the party so successful!!

In August 2013, a group of volunteers will be heading to Ghana to help bring the joy of play to the children in Anyirawase.  We are taking refurbished playgrounds and installing them at the Anyirawase L.A. Primary School, in the Ho Municipality of the Volta Region of Ghana! We are also working on some other projects within the community and the school... 

The Ghana Playground Project Goals & Desired Outcomes...

Together we will:

1. 1)  Help bring the joy and love of play to children by constructing and developing a new school
   playground at Anyirawase L.A. Primary School in Ghana.
   
   
2. 2)  Bring the community and the children of Anyirawase L.A. Primary School together by constructing a new playground that will complement the heritage of the area, as well as and create a community-gathering place.
   
   
3. 3)  Demonstrate the value of volunteerism by working together to achieve a common goal.
   
   
4. 4)  Show our children, communities and country that it is possible to make difference on the other side of the world.
   
   
5. 5)  Gain knowledge, appreciation and respect for another culture from working with local citizens.
